A rare white Burgundy from a domaine best known for its reds, the 2015 Meursault Santenots 1er Cru is a powerful yet refined expression of Chardonnay. Grown in the prestigious Santenots vineyard, this wine opens with elegant aromas of ripe citrus, white flowers, and toasted almonds, underpinned by subtle hints of oak and mineral. On the palate, it is full-bodied and richly textured, delivering layers of stone fruit, lemon curd, and delicate spice, balanced by a vibrant acidity and a long, focused finish.
This vintage showcases remarkable depth and aging potential, making it a standout for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Best enjoyed with lobster, roasted poultry, or creamy mushroom risotto.
